Changing RRP as a Supplier

Created by StockShare Admin, Modified on Mon, 1 Dec at 9:15 AM by StockShare Admin

As a supplier if you change the RRP of a product in Shopify, this will sync through to StockShare and update the RRP in Stockshare.

Retailers can decide whether these updated RRPs sync through to their StockShare based on their settings.

Suppliers have the following 2 options for price settings with StockShare:

1. Sync RRP – By selecting this option any changes made by a supplier on their Shopify Store will automatically update in StockShare.

  • Retailers RRP in their Shopify will only update in this scenario if they have selected “Sync RRP from Supplier” in their Apps Settings.

2. No Sync of RRP – By selecting this option any changes made by a supplier on their Shopify Store will not update in StockShare.

  • Commissions will be paid based on the RRP in StockShare.
  • Retailers RRP in their Shopify will reflect the RRP in StockShare if synced.

Note: if a supplier has “No Sync of RRP” existing in settings and selects “Sync RRP” the RRP existing in the Suppliers Shopify will update in StockShare with 24 hours.

We recommend suppliers “Sync products RRP” to ensure consistency of price updates. Ultimately the suppliers decision to Sync or not Sync RRP will be determined by their relationships with their retailers, and given promotional activity. Noting Retailers at any time can unsynchronise RRP.
