Process for Suppliers using a private courier

If a Supplier uses a private courier that does not provide a tracking number, the Supplier can still successfully fulfil and complete the order in Shopify and StockShare by following the steps below.


Steps to Complete the Order


1. Fulfil the Order in Shopify

  • Go to your Shopify admin
  • Open the relevant order
  • Click “Fulfil item”
  • Select your courier (or mark as fulfilled)
  • Leave the tracking number field blank (if not available)
  • Confirm fulfilment


2. Ensure Fulfilment is Marked as Complete

  • Once fulfilled in Shopify, this status will sync to StockShare
  • No tracking number is required for the order to progress


3. Order Completion in StockShare

  • StockShare will recognise the fulfilment update from Shopify
  • The order will move through to completion as normal


Important Notes

  • A tracking number is not required when using a private courier
  • Orders may fail or decline if fulfilment is not confirmed in Shopify
  • Always ensure the order is marked as fulfilled in Shopify to avoid delays or errors
