Shopify integration for a Supplier

This integration process if for brands joining online retailer stores/marketplaces. This should only take 15 minutes to complete.

Private App connection:

1. Select “Apps” from the left Shopify Store Menu;

2. Press on the “Develop apps for your store” button at the bottom of the page;

3. “Allow custom app development”;

4. Press “Allow custom app development” once again;

5. Press “Create an app”;

6. Type “StockShare” in the “App name” field and press “Create app”;

7. Go to the “Configuration” tab and press “Configure” in the “Admin AP integration” section;

8. Select the following permissions to
“Read”: “Products”, “Inventory”
“Read and write”: “Orders”, “Customers”, “Resource feedback”

*Please note this information is required for the retailer to sell your products, otherwise the integration will not work. StockShare does not utilise this information for any other purposes.

9. Press “Save”;

10. Press “Install app”;

11. Press “Install”;

12. Finally, your credentials will be generated which provide open API access to your store. Please keep them secure. Please note, the Admin API access token can be revealed only once. These credentials have to be provided to StockShare in order to finalize the app connection.

13. Open a separate browser and search up StockShare login. https://app.stockshare.io/login

14. Copy the API key, API Access Token, API Secret Key and paste them to the respective fields in your Apps Settings of StockShare account (https://app.stockshare.io/settings/apps).

Shop URL should be extracted from the URL of your Shopify store:

For example, “My-store.myshopify.com”.

15. Press “Connect”.

Now, you should see a “Business Unit has been successfully connected to Shopify store via private app” message, which means the private app connection process is finalised.

Stripe connection:

*Stockshare uses Stripe as a payment gateway to distribute the funds.

Log in to the StockShare account;
Press “Settings” from the left menu bar;
Choose “Payments” from the dropdown menu;
Press “Connect with Stripe”

16. Provide the requested information on the Stripe platform.
